The cottage exceeded my expectations with its stunning location in the rainforest. I loved the privacy, feeling like we were far from the rest of the world. The hot tub was a highlight, especially soaking in it while listening to the rain outside. The gas fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with spices and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. We enjoyed the mountain bikes, exploring the beautiful surroundings. However, I did experience issues with check-in. I didn’t receive the access email until later, which complicated our arrival. Also, having no mobile coverage on-site made it challenging to communicate. Some breakfast options were limited, with only children's cereal available. A bit of improvement in the breakfast selection would enhance the experience.

My group had a delightful two-night stay in a charming Queen Suite with Spa Bath while exploring the nearby attractions. The cottage's beautiful grounds and access to trails, like the Kilauea Iki Trailhead, made our hikes easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the cozy space for preparing our meals, though breakfast options were sparse with just some children's cereal and fruit available.
